Michael & Helen Bellamy
I’m Michael and this is my wife Helen. We founded Livinhope ministries to bring the love and knowledge of Jesus to some of the most isolated, marginaised and misunderstood people in our community. We serve the local community in Sheffield but are happy to support other churches nationally and our training workshops are especially suited to this.
We provide support groups (such as our ‘Someone Cares’ group in Sheffield) for people with mental health issues, whatever they might be. We also provide pastoral care for church and community and services (such as our ‘Wellspring’ service) designed to meet the needs of people with mental health issues and provide transition to church if appropriate.
We provide mentoring and befriending for people and support for those (Christian or otherwise) who have had a negative experience of church. We help them grow in faith as we provide a place of acceptance and security.
